Denise Fisher

Denise has been involved in health care since 1973, as a nurse, midwife, lactation consultant and educator. She heads a team of professionals in developing and delivering quality online education courses to health professionals all over the world.

 

Steve Fisher

Steve has a long history in e-learning. He has established several online learning units in tertiary education institutions and created and delivered many professional development programs for designers, trainers and managers on e-learning. Sue Cox

Sue CoxOnline Course Facilitator, RN IBCLC AM

Sue has been passionate about breastfeeding education since 1973, becoming a volunteer counselor with the Australian Breastfeeding Association in 1978. She was employed by the major maternity hospitals in Hobart, Tasmania as a lactation consultant soon afterwards. Sue was one of Australia's first IBCLCs in 1985 and was the first Australian representative on the Board. She is the author of two books, Breastfeeding, I Can Do That and Breastfeeding with Confidence. In 2004 Sue was admitted as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for service to community health, particularly as a lactation consultant, educator and counselor.

 

Barbara Ash

Barbara AshOnline Course Facilitator, MA IBCLC

Barbara first realized that breastfeeding saved lives when she served in Africa in the early 1980s. Since 1991, with the birth of her first son, she has been involved in breastfeeding and care of breastfeeding families. She is a La Leche League Leader and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, with experience working in private practice, administration, and distance education, She recently began working in a hospital setting.

   

Bridget Ingle

Bridget IngleProfessional Development Educator, IBCLC

Bridget spent her early mothering years involved in the Australian Breastfeeding Association. She qualified as an IBCLC in 1992 and had built up a full time private practice prior to joining Health e-Learning. Bridget specialises in complex breastfeeding situations such as cleft lip/palate, persistent thrush and babies who fail to attach. Bridget is a crucial member of the Health e-Learning team.

 

Samantha McKillop

Samantha McKillopAdministration Officer, MISPN PCO

Sam looks after all our client and student administration, a crucial component of the Health e-Learning customer service. Sam is also skilled in computer programming and assists with course production.

Freddy is from Bogata, Colombia and is our latest member of the health e-Learning team. He maintains Health e-Learning's student management database and GOLD conference websites.
