Lenore and Carole have many wonderful memories of Pat over the years including those times when we had the good fortune to present at the same conference which was so incredible. Pat was instrumental in helping so many students, LLL leaders, IBCLCs, health care professionals and policy makers learn to understand and enjoy research through humour with her “Research Aerobics”. We are honoured to have had the opportunity to know Pat Marten’s as she was a most amazing person. The next six months will pass quickly and before you know it, you will be taking the IBLCE exam. Whether you are about to embark on this important event for the first time, or whether you are recertifying as an experienced IBCLC, July 2015 will arrive very quickly! Here are some things for you to consider which may help you smoothly prepare for this important event: - Check out the IBLCE website http://iblce.org/ for information about applying for the IBLCE exam. Remember, March 2nd is the deadline date for applications this year. IBCLCs who are recertifying, should already have received your exam application package.
