Aim

LE02 aims to improve breastfeeding outcome for families through increased knowledge based on improving communication and competency skills for health care providers

Objectives

• Describe what to look for when assessing a breastfeed
• List three reasons why hand expressing may be preferred by some mothers’/lactating people over pumping milk
• Describe how to explain to a parent a baby showing feeding cues signs

Assessment

Achievement of the learning objectives is assessed by automatically graded, online, multiple-choice questions. A passing grade is 80%.
