XL55: Jessica Coll: Starting Solids. Baby Led Weaning

This presentation will include the latest evidence-based research about the traditional approach to the introduction of complementary foods compared to the Baby Led Weaning (BLW) approach. More and more parents are opting for BLW so it’s important to make sure they proceed safely and offer the appropriate foods to balance breastfeeding with solids.

Jessica Coll
Participants will be able to evaluate how to balance breastfeeding with the introduction of complementary foods, how iron needs can be met with BLW and how parents are proceeding safely.
