Our Lactation Education Training (BreastEd) provides 120 CERPs (106.5L, 6E & 7.5R CERPs/120 CPD/CH).
This training includes the required minimum 5 hours of communication skills and 2 hours of WHO Code training.
The program provides lactation training for those interested in becoming IBCLCs and for Doctors, Nurses, Midwives, and Doulas interested in enhancing their lactation knowledge.
It comprises 10 unique courses, each dealing with a specific area or period of relevance to the lactating dyad. Together, these courses provide a comprehensive lactation training that covers the 7 domains of the IBCLC Content Outline.
Our LET-BreastEd courses aim to provide students with a comprehensive direction of study that will prepare them for the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) exam while giving them the knowledge and confidence to become competent professionals in the field of lactation.
By developing and delivering this lactation education training online, our secondary aim is to provide high-quality education accessible to students who, by preference or necessity, find the unlimited 12-month access to course content, tutoring, and peer support best suits their needs.
Our LET-BreastEd courses have been approved by the Lactation Education Accreditation and Approval Review Committee (LEAARC), which recognizes comprehensiveness and quality in lactation education and is the minimum standard recommended for all future Lactation Consultants training.
Our LET-BreastEd courses meet and exceed the lactation-specific education prerequisite for those students preparing for the IBLCE examination to become a Lactation Consultant.
Enroll in the Lactation Education Training (LET-BreastEd) in one transaction and have access to the whole program and tutors for a full 12 months. Alternatively, each course may be enrolled individually for a one-month per course enrollment period, cumulative as you add each new course.
